What is the Bird’s Nest Fern?
Meet the Asplenium nidus, or Bird’s Nest Fern for short! In the wild, you can find this plant growing on trees and other plants. But in your space, they will simply grow in a pot! Bird’s Nest Ferns can add an otherworldly element to your space with their long and wavy leaves. They can grow up to 2-3 feet wide but can be placed in office spaces in much smaller sizes. These plants also work well in atriums with other similar plants to create a tropical look.
Bird’s Nest Fern Care Needs
The Bird’s Nest Fern enjoys higher humidity than a lot of plants, so we don’t recommend these specimens near vents or doorways. To get those humid levels just right, we tend to place the plants near other plants that like a lot of water!
In the wild, the Bird’s Nest Fern does not usually get direct sunlight. This will be the same recommendation for an indoor Bird’s Nest Fern. They still need light to grow and thrive, but not direct sunlight, so we would not place this in a south-facing window.
Plants give us many health and mental benefits when they are at their healthiest.
Our plant guarantee provides you with peace of mind, as we ensure regular maintenance including watering and debris removal, utilization of organic pest control when needed, and regular quality control visits. When plants reach the end of their natural life cycle, your plants will be replaced free of charge!
