What is the Spathiphyllum?
Now that’s a mouthful! But you’ve probably encountered the Spathiphyllum before—it’s a Peace Lily! A classic houseplant with many mental and physical health benefits, you won’t regret having this plant in your space. This luscious plant does well in many environments because of its adaptability and ease of care. So now, let’s learn a bit more about the Spathiphyllum.
Spathiphyllum Care Needs
The Spathiphyllum can tolerate lower light levels, but you might not see any blooms. This does not mean the Spathiphyllum isn’t healthy, just isn’t getting enough energy to produce a flower. If you truly want your plant to thrive, it loves being in or near east or west-facing windows where it will get a lot of light, but nothing too extreme that could scorch its leaves. Fun fact, this plant was in NASA’s Clean Air Study and can help remove toxins from the air!
